Founded in 1999, Instos, Inc. was originally named International Computer solutions, Inc. Over the next few years, the company delved into a wide variety of sectors and clients, to the point that its name was no longer appropriate for the solutions the company offered. To better reflect the breadth of its abilities, the company changed its name to Instos, Inc. in 2008.
Derived from the Latin word "Insto", Instos means to devote oneself or to pursue eagerly.

The change became a reaffirmation; rejuvenation; and a rededication to new goals and new objectives.

Under the name Instos, the company will continue dedicating itself in serving the men and women who have and are currently serving our country from the various sectors of the United States Government. Instos brings several decades of continuous, successful human resource performance supporting personnel services with various government and commercial agencies.

From “Gateway to Quality Services” to “Serving those who serve our Nation”, today Instos exemplifies the principles of quality, security, trust and effective communications. These principles have enabled us to offer world class business and system solutions catered specifically to the federal sector.

Rockville, Maryland continues to serve as the corporate headquarters with Sterling, Virginia serving as the IT technical division.
